Description

Team memberships go on sale September 1st for $140 — a $35 discount off DI’s $175 price — with 90 memberships available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once they are gone, memberships must be purchased directly from Destination Imagination for $175.

Team managers, school coordinators, school financial secretaries and parents may purchase; accepted payment methods are school purchase orders, school checks, and credit cards — no individual checks.

Your Team Number will be assigned within approximately 48 hours after payment has been received.

Please note that parent Team Managers or schools on behalf of Parent Team Managers must still purchase a $25 background check directly from DI — the team manager dashboard and challenge materials will not be accessible until this check clears. Team Managers who are school district employees do not need to purchase a background check. School districts submit a waiver form to DI for those background checks.

Purchase order / check payment is due within 30 days. If the payment is not received, the team membership number will not be assigned.

All sales are final, with no refunds — including for memberships already purchased directly from DI.

What is a Team Number?

• A Team Number is the DI term for registration. It is a unique membership number permitting a team to present/compete at a local DI event/tournament and be eligible to qualify for Global Finals.
• For competitive Team Challenges, a team can consist of 2-7 members.
• For the Early Learning Challenge, a team can have 2 or more members.
